It
has been said that the mark of a great drummer is their
ability to create their own signature sound. With his
tight fills and heavy backbeats, Wilfried Broekman
exhibits his technical prowess with a precision and
class all its own.
Wilfried started off
his proffessional career playing the drums for such
bands as Medallion and Mindscape, and later played
together with Robert Soeterboek in My Brother Jake. He
then went on to tour and record with bands including
Sugarfish and Martyr as well as a busy schedule as a
session drummer.
Always playing with a
deliberate cool, combined with his extraordinary talent
has made Wilfried the backbone of the Cotton Soeterboek
Band.
